Fall - Brown Patch Just Around the Corner

  As summer begins to release its chokehold on Florida and the hurricane season finally nears an end, cooler evening temperatures signal brown patch weather is on the way.  When making management decisions concerning brown patch, a preventative strategy will pay dividends.  Cultural and chemical management options can provide excellent control before brown patch symptoms are severe.  However, turf-grass is typically slow to recover after severe outbreaks, so learn what you can about the disease and stay ahead of the game.
